Training in classical logic is the key to overcoming the most difficult and costly challenges in modern organizations. This is easy to understand when we recognize the central role of logic in both automated and manual information systems. We find that the study of classical logic and implementation of its principles will improve more than just data storage and retrieval—it will fundamentally alter for the better the management of information in modern organizations. We describe the theoretical underpinnings and practical rationale for adding classical logic to business education curricula and applying it to the design and development of information systems. We do not propose a methodology, but rather a set of simple changes to business education and organizational approaches to information management.
